More about us and food from our little family trip to HK

Let me talk more about ourselves:)

Not really someone who writes very well, so please pardon my lack of flair, lack of good grammar and lack of good vocab. Basically, today u are going to hear it from the tortoise's pov. If u haven known (and I'm pretty sure u dun), there's 2 writers here, Tortoise (me, the bf/husband to be) and Snail (her, the gf/ wife to be). So do look out for wat we have to say about some eating places, short trip or watsoever, I mean for all I know nobody will read anything written here, which I guess is highly probable:) anyway, we dun plan to be a ladyironchef or a xiaxue, we're just writing to share wat we have to share and if u like it do keep reading:)

Anyway, 2 of us have just return from our family trip to HK.

 Really had a lot of fun, like a lot a lot of fun. Went there for 5 days and return to our little island to realise our neighbor have just whack us with a hell lot of smoke. We can't blame anyone I think, I mean, seriously.. Can the govt do anything about it? NOOO.. It's impossible to do anything about it. The wind wan to blow the wind to our direction wat can they do? Call god and ask him to change direction? Or ask all our minister to blow the haze away?? Ask our neighbor to do something about it. Stop blaming the govt. It's like I'm sure u dun scold ur parent if u step on the shit of your neighbour's pet right.. anyway that's beside the point.

Our trip to HK is the key for this post. Especially the food!!! Alright.. so I guess I will put up some stuff to share with everyone. First up!! we went to this place in central. 

It's on a small street known as Gage Road; on the right of Aberdeen road. We had a tomato macaroni with pork chop. 

It's awesome and that coming from someone who dun even eat tomato base pasta, I think u should know how good it is. Snail had it and she finish almost everything. Tortoise prefer something more simple, I went for bun instead. It butter with condense milk crispy. 

It's really really nice. It's so nice that I only shared 2 mouth of it with Snail (I'm sorry lah :( ) The bun is like crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Only bad thing, the place is not that easy to go to so I shall now provide u a map. It's somewhere near the 55 that balloon.

The auntie whom we sat with also recommended this place call ABC bakery somewhere nearby as well. The street name is in chinese so go ask around, it's opp a famous tea shop:)

The other place I'm going to recommend is something that I guess is plastered all over the internet world. Australia Dairy Co.

 The scramble eggs... They melt in ur mouth.. U can really taste the eggs. put a bit of pepper over it.. YUMS!!! this is wat u will read everywhere.. Trust me.

 They are really good at making that. But tortoise and snail.. are of course very adventurous and awesome.. we always try more:) and now I shall recommend to u their french toast. 

On the menu, it written as fa lan xi dou. So look out for that. The bread is thick and the layer of egg is very.. how do I put it... Delicious I guess. and together with butter and the honey it is food orgasm in ur mouth. This place is at 47,49 Parkes street near Jordan MTR.

And one last place before Tortoise go into his shell and sleep is 2/3 shop front away, known as ba ji desert. It's a traditional desert shop. Not like those that sell all the mango stuff but those that u see on HK dramas. It's really very nice. 

Snail tried their sweet potatoes soup. Their soup is boiled till the point where it has the taste of the sweet potatoes itself. I dun think u can find something like that in Singapore. Tortoise, being a fan of this particular beancurd skin desert, of course tried that.

 It is out of this world awesome. I can't describe it with word. I'm just going to tell u. GO TRY IT!! 

So if u are going to HK soon, go try this places. There are a few more worth mentioning but I guess I'll keep it to other days. Time to sleep. The haze is getting into me:((

To snail. I hope you had fun for the past 5 days with me by ur side. I'm really glad u are there with me. Every trip we take, we learn more about each other, and every trip I take with u, it always make me wan u more. I can't wait for the day that I can finally make u mine one and only wifey:) I'm really thankful that I have found u in my life. Even mummy tortoise say that I'm lucky. I love you:)
